The responsibilities of the project steering committee include:
- ensuring clear scope and Terms of Reference,
- providing the necessary resources,
- conflict resolution,
- managing contingency expenditure,
- the project achieving it's objectives,
- approved expenditure is not exceeded,
- expected benefits are realised,
- project targets are met, and
- promoting acceptance of the project.
